In this workshop, we cover 3 group-based activities and share how you can best manage the student experience and assessment efficiently and effectively to get the most out of the activity.
I'm excited to share best practice and everything I've learned and seen working with professors to effectively implement group-based activities. Kritik enables professors to engage students and increase the level of interaction across all course types - online and in-person - and it has been a lot of fun seeing the innovative ways to implement group activities.
The workshop will feature Professor Sal Meyers from Simpson College and Instructional Designer, Courtney Archer-Efimba, who curates courses and activities and works directly with professors to ensure a smooth and positive experience for all. We are excited to share how you can integrate group-based activities tying in both asynchronous and synchronous learning environments.
What to expect in the 45-minute workshop:
- Common challenges of peer assessment
- Overview of peer learning platform, Kritik
- 3 examples of common group-based activities and most importantly - how you can succeed implementing them!
- Discussion and Q/A
